Private/Directed
Private Retreat
Private, personal retreats of various lengths can be made anytime during the year as dependent upon available space. The days are spent in prayer, reading, and reflection as determined by the individual retreatant. Tapes and books are available as guides. Arrangements can be made through the central office.
The offering for a private retreat is $60.00 per day. There is an additional cost for a meeting with a spiritual director.
Directed Retreat
Directed Retreat is an individually guided retreat. The retreat includes ample time for reflecting, praying and listening to God speaking, especially through the Word of God, the Scriptures. Each retreatant is assigned a Director who walks with her/him through the days of retreat reflecting and sharing with the retreatant about her/his prayer and life experience. The Director meets with the retreatant each day. Each summer, two separate weeks are specifically devoted to directed retreats. However, a directed retreat may be made at any time, limited only by staff and space availability. The retreat may be of any duration agreed upon by the staff of the Center and the retreatant. Reservations for directed retreats must be made in advance through our office. Directed retreats are $75.00 a day and include meeting with a spiritual director once a day.
We also offer directed retreats in the summer with groups. Some people prefer sharing prayer during these silent retreats made with more people. In July 2010 there will be two directed retreats held. The 3-Day will be held on July 8-11, 2010. Offering for the 3-Day is $225.00. The 6-Day will be held on July 11-17, 2010.Offering for the 6-Day is $450.00 ($75.00 per day.) The program begins with a 5:30 supper on the first evening of the session and concludes with the noon meal on the final day of the session.
