Adopt a Room--and we'll do the work for you!
As you know, we have been a retreat center since 1971. Many of the furnishings in the rooms have seen better days. We want to continue to make people’s stay here as comfortable as possible. A retreatant recently suggested that she would like to donate money in memory of a loved one to refresh a bedroom with new paint, lighting and a comforter. A name plaque would be mounted on the door in memory of their loved one. With this idea, we began to think maybe other people might be interested in “adopting” a bedroom at St. Anthony’s. Based on our cost estimates, we are asking for a donation of $400.00 per bedroom. Several people or families may join together to contribute to the cost of one bedroom. The donor does not have to do any work. You can even choose to adopt a bedroom to honor a saint or someone whose life has inspired you. So begins our newest project. Let us know if you’re interested!
